Blenchmark 1.0.6

Hi all,

Due to the incompatibility with Blender 2.78 I updated the addon to a new version. Thanks to Julian Eisel I managed to fix the error in the add-on. Thank you Julian.

You will notice that the pop-up, when clicking on the "Render > Benchmark" link in Blender, is a bit different. The "Cancel" button is removed, because it wasn't doing anything anyway. A different kind of pup-up is used to work around the error the previous version with Blender 2.78. However the end-result remains the same: The blenchmark scene is opened. If you don't want it to be opened, just move your mouse away from the pop-up, or hit escape.

Kind regards,

Blenchmark not working in Blender 2.78

Hi everyone,
Several blender-heads reported to me that the add-on isn't working with Blender 2.78. I'm currently looking into it. I'm trying to narrow it down and making some progress, but it is a though one. I don't get any python errors. Just the error: Segmentation fault (core dumped). I'm going to figure it out, but it will take some time. Please be patient. If you have any suggestions where to fix this, please let me know!

After some digging I thought is was a bug in Blender itself. I reported it as such and I just got confirmation about it. You can follow the progress here:

Thank you all in advance.
Have fun with Blender!
