Today I released version 1.0.4 of the Blenchmark addon. The addon received 3 major updates en some minor fixes.
The biggest improvement, in my opinion, is that the addon knows how to handle multiple gpu's. When you use 2 or more gpu's the addon checks if they are different or not. When you use the same gpu's this will be visible in the gpu name the same way it is visible in Blender itself. When you use different gpu's you will receive an error and you won't be able to run the benchmark.
The second improvement is the coöperation with the Auto Tile Size addon. This simple but handy addon helps you in choosing the best tilesize when rendering. But... while benchmarking you want all the variables be the same, except for the kind of card that is used. Auto Tile Size addon changes these variables and makes the benchmark not comparable to other benchmarks. With this update the Auto Tile Size addon will be disabled (after a warning) when you open the benchmark scene. When you re-enable the addon while in the benchmark scene, you won't be able to benchmark. When you disable it again, the tilesize will be reset as soon as the benchmark starts.
The third improvement is a little thing which will help me control the used version of the addon. It checks (when a internet connection is available) if the addon version is the current version of the addon. If it is not, you will receive a warning and won't be able to benchmark.
There was some testing done by the Dutch Blender Community the past few days, but the new version of this addon is not extensively tested. So, don't be surprised when you find bugs and please report them here. I will try to fix them asap!
